Tulapi should not make baseless comments

The National, Wednesday 10th April, 2013

I REFER to your report quoting former Kagua-Erave MP Daniel Tulapi calling on the prime minister to stop MPs’ funds (April 4).

Why is he making baseless statements?

He is one of the three losing candidates who is disputing incumbent MP James Lagea’s win.

The matter will be heard beginning May 6 in Mendi.

Why can’t he wait until his grievances are heard instead of making all sorts of allegations?

He must understand that no amount of mud he throws will let him take over the Kagua-Erave seat.

I think it is not wise to make such allegations.

He should wait until 2017 to launch another bid.
