Tura the Kokomo starts Games promotion drive

 The Games Official Mascot Tura visited All Girls Catholic Secondary School Marianville Secondary on Tuesday.
Students and teachers had the opportunity to meet and greet Tura and also took the opportunity to take photographs with the Games Mascot.
The visit by the 2015 Games Mascot is to bring a sense of national pride among the people in the lead up to the Games.
Students welcomed Tura to the school with banners and sang the school welcome song to welcome Tura to the school.
School Principal Sr Angela Taylor thanked the Games Organising Committee for giving them the opportunity to visit the school and delivering Games messages to the students.
Sr Angela said, students can be part of the Games through the volunteer program and she looks forward to having her students to be part of the Games through such programs.
Students were also given a short quiz on general knowledge questions about the Games and won themselves a GOC gift pack
The visit to Marianville School ended with a photo session with students and staff.
Tura will be visiting schools, hospitals and communities throughout the country in the lead up to the Games.
