Two in critical condition from road accident

 TWO men are fighting for their lives at the Tabubil hospital after a car they were travelling in ran off the road.

Provincial police commander Insp Silva Sika said six men and a woman were travelling in a private vehicle in Tabubil when the accident took place around 11am on Sunday.  

“Three men sitting at the back of the moving vehicle were thrown off. Two landed on a pipe,” he said.

Police have charged the driver with drinking and driving. He is detained at the Tabubil police cell.

“I am appealing to all in the province to be responsible when drinking. Think of those in the vehicle when driving,” Sikar said

Three, including the female, sustained  injuries.
