MADANG police have arrested two more suspects in relation to the murder of a man in Bogia on Monday.
They have been locked up at the Jomba cell in Madang town.
Provincial Police commander Supt Mazuc Rubiang said four people were allegedly involved in the death of Joshua Podarua, from Kolang village.
He said two suspects were arrested earlier.
Police said the murder occurred at around 9.30pm at Kolang village in ward three of the Yabu LLG, Bogia district of Madang.
Police heard that four people, including the deceased, were drinking homebrew at Kolang village on Monday night.
Supt Rubiang said police arrested two suspects at Simbine village after the incident.
“After an argument, a fight erupted among them. The suspects used a piece of hard wood to hit the deceased on his head and neck.
“The deceased was taken to Asuramba clinic but died from injuries he sustained in the fight,” Supt Rubiang said.
