U13s come third in Filipa Cup

THE U13 Koroboro soccer team that left for Townsville earlier this month for the Filipa Cup has returned as third place winners.
The Koroboro youths, who were the only Papua New Guinean team to take part in the interschool soccer Cup, did exceptionally well earning the respect and praise of many coaches and players who participated.
Koroboro team coach Shannon Andrew, said he was very proud of the boys and told of how the little Papua New Guinean ambassadors showed great sportsmanship and skills both on and off the field throughout their stay.
