THERE must be understanding, an open line of communication and cooperation among the public servants of Morobe and the provincial executive council or Sam-Sewe, acting provincial administrator Geoving Bilong says.

He made the appeal on behalf of more than 800 public servants of Morobe when welcoming the new 20-member provincial cabinet announced by Governor Kelly Naru last Friday, in Lae.

Bilong described the new cabinet, featuring two local level government presidents from each district, as a good team and appealed for understanding of the public service system.

“We are one team to reach the goals of the Morobe provincial government and the government’s objective is to improve the living standard of the people in Morobe,” he said.

“Work as a team to reach that common objective, advisors work with the chairmen, take them around to let them know the system,” Bilong said. He urged publicservants to not be involved in politics.
