I COMMEND Koroba-Lake Kopiago MP Philip Undialu for the bold step in purchasing heavy earth-moving and construction equipment for the electorate.
For far too long, the people of Koroba-Lake Kopiago have missed out on essential services due to poor road conditions.
Past administrations have preached about building roads and even gotten government funding, but nothing has transpired.
Undialu has also incorporated a business entity for locals to take ownership of the equipment and run the initiative unlike past leaders who privately own these machines and vehicles when they lose the election.
I encourage the MP to register the assets under the district and advise the people on how to manage them.
Undialu, you have proved that you are not a selfish leader, but a leader whose vision has cascaded into action.
For that, I take my hat off to you.
