I AM a Westpac Bank customer who is unhappy about the bank’s recent 2% cash handling fee for both deposits and withdrawals.
It is totally unnecessary and uncalled for to its regular and longtime customers. Some of them like me have been the bank’s major cash deposit clients over many years and should be exempted from such fees.
It is therefore unfair and unjust to its loyal clients and not in the best interest of good bank-customer relationship.  We wonder if the bank sought approval from the Central Bank or other regulative and monitoring body prior to imposing such fees.
The matter must be investigated because it is a daylight robbery for us, the customers, where our hard-earned profit is again reduced by the bank.
