Unhappy with final grade 12 marks

Letters

I CONGRATULATE the Education Department, especially its measurement services unit, for the tremendous job in setting and completing the national exams amidst the challenges of the Covid-19.
I am expressing my grievances on the outcome of my grade 12 final marks.
I majored in science, advanced math, physics, biology, chemistry and language and literature.
I have scored well above average in the three internal assessments with a 3.2 grade point average (GPA).
I was satisfied that I did well in the national exams but was shocked to see that my final GPA dropped to 1.4.
How can a person, after putting all the hard work and tenacity with satisfaction in sitting the exams, be given such a lousy grade?
I feel in my heart that something is seriously wrong with the marking and recording of my external marks at the measurement services unit.
I know that there have been some instances marks were entered with errors. I request for the mercy period be extended for such issues to be addressed so people like me can have a chance of getting their marks right.
I believe some students are facing this too.
