THE University of Technology has established its own rugby league association (URLA), with its executives and constitution.

The URLA will function under the functions of the student representative council headed by Livingstone Hosea.

The league’s five-man constitutional committee is working on a document after realising there was no clear selection format for players in varsity games and other competitions, no performance grading system and no policies on disputes.

That URLA constitution is adopted from the Penrith Panthers and the PNG Rugby League Foundation’s schoolboys’ handbook.
