The postgraduate school at the University of Technology had its student orientation and officially launched the office of the postgraduate school last Friday.

About 25 registered postgraduate students, including two international students from the Caribbean attended the orientation.

Thirteen out of the 14 departments at Unitech offer post-graduate studies but because of the poor full time attention to student over last few years, the university came up with the separate school office where supervisors can interact directly with students and help them on a full time basis.

Acting pro vice chancellor administration Macquin Maino, representing acting vice chancellor John Puma, addressed the post graduate students and challenged them to do researches.
