Uni set to host seminar

 THE Papua New Guinea University of Technology is set to host the seventh Huon Seminar this week.

It will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at the Taraka Campus, Lae.

“Achieving Vision 2050 through Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology”, is the theme for the  seminar.

Speakers will be presenting research on education and social issues affecting the environment and communities, including topics on technology and engineering in the country.

Concurrent sessions will be conducted in both the Rose Kekedo Lecture Theatre and the Mining Engineering Department’s lecture room.

State Enterprises Minister Ben Micah will be the guest speaker for the event.

The seminar is open to the public.
