MORE than 90 Okapa students attending the University of Goroka will benefit from a K100, 000 school fee assistance from local MP Saki Soloma.
Soloma announced this on Monday during an informal visit to the university to see the students.
He said a total of K600,000 was allocated for school fee subsidy this year from the DSIP (district services improvement programme) funding.
Soloma said Okapa students at other institutions would also be receiving their share of the subsidy.
He said subsidising fees for all Okapa students was one of his priorities.
