A GROUP of students from the Pacific Adventist University (PAU) recently donated a water tank to a local elementary school.
The tank will enable Iyobuna Elementary School, in 15-Mile outside Port Moresby, provide clean water for students to practice good hand hygiene as the city and country manages the threat of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
This year’s project management class of the school of arts and humanities at PAU bought a 3,000L tuffa tank and with the help of the university’s support service, they were able to construct the base for the tank in the last two weeks of July during the semester break.
The project was part of class Covid-19 awareness assessment.
