A NEW bridging course will be introduced next semester to enable school leavers to get into the University of Goroka.

Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Mel said the distance and flexible learning department had developed the Certificate in Tertiary Admission Studies course to be offered through the open distance and flexible learning centres.

“Students thinking of doing their upgrading and matriculation studies at our open and flexible learning centre will have a better chance of getting accepted into UOG if they complete this new course which will be offered in August,” Mel said.

“It will enable students seeking enrolment for full time studies a better chance of getting accepted.”
