Uni’s open day attracts schools, students

THE University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Tonga Campus Open Day 2021 attracted schools and students across Tonga to learn about opportunities available at the university.
The open day’s theme, ‘Shaping Your Future’, was an educational and informative event that was attended by 11 schools with over 200 students earlier this month.
Chief guest and Tonga campus director, Dr Robin Havea said USP Tonga Campus served the people of Tonga.
“The Campus will remain loyal and welcomes you all next year to pursue your tertiary education from the comfort of your home in Tonga,” he said.
“I hope you will make the right choice of choosing USP as you all have been informed about the opportunities available here.”
He added that at USP, “we take pride in the quality of education we deliver throughout the region”.
He said their programme of studies was tailor-made to the needs of the nation and the people.
