VADAVADA United are primed for Sunday’s round-nine clash with Koki Eels in the Moresby South Rugby League A-Grade competition at Moresby South Stadium.
This is a crucial match for United with two competition points on offer.
But it will not be an easy task as the Eels are determined to keep their top-eight hopes alive with a win.
United coach Steven Francis and his deputy Jessie Ketan will be counting on their forwards in captain Joe Mika, Timothy Yol Micah Wai, Junior Peter and Oxsy Gunure to gain the upper hand in attack and defence.
In the backline, halves Maia John and Charlie Aima will want to combine well with hooker Jason Wings and centres Mathias Relly and Junior Amos to make the most of their pack’s inroads.
Meanwhile, ladder leaders Rabia Bulldogs are on a bye this weekend.
