University makes inroad

Youth & Careers

DIVINE Word University’s St Benedict’s campus achieved another milestone with the extension of its Matriculation Centre in the Yangoru-Saussia of East Sepik.
A memorandum of agreement was signed between university vice-president Dr Lawrence Arockiaraj and the Yangoru-Saussia MP and Minister for National Planning and Monitoring Richard Maru on Monday.
The Yangoru-Saussia Development Authority will provide the logistics while the university will provide the resources for the centre.
The matriculation centre will start enrolling students next month.
This was a welcomed note for the district as students would be given a second chance at earning a university qualification.
