MOORE Printing continued their relationship with University Tigers with a sponsorship of K15,000 to compete in the National Capital District BSP AFL competition.
On Tuesday, Moore Printing marketing manager Abigail Popoitai presented Moore University Tigers representative, Walter Yangomina, pictured, and the BSP AFL premiership tournament director Cornelius Papau with a cheque for K15,000.
Popoitai said this was the third year Moore Printing had been involved with AFL PNG and it was a partnership that Moore was particularly proud of “as our sponsorship focuses on community and well-being initiatives that directly benefit Papua New Guineans”.
She said AFL PNG had a great overall programme for seniors and juniors.
“The junior programme not only cultivates athletic ability and talent but teaches and instils self-discipline, teamwork and success through hard work,” she said.
“The company has a healthy track record of supporting sport in Papua New Guinea and sponsors behind events like the PNG Open, the National Game Fishing Titles and Capital Rugby Union to name a few.”
