Up salaries to curb corruption

FROM my observation, there is corruption in all government departments.
One solid reason is the low salary.
A public servant I interviewed said corruption would continue to exist as
their current salary was too low to cater for their families for two weeks.
He said that they would do anything, even risking termination, by doing illegal activities to find more money.
Therefore, I call on the government, which is so vocal about fighting corruption, to increase the salaries of public servants to improve job satisfaction and performance.
I challenge Prime Minister Peter O’Neill to do this simple thing in his fight against corruption.
