Upgrade Morata 1 settlement

THE well-known settlement in Port Moresby, Morata 1, needs to be upgraded to create a better community for the working residents who contribute to Papua New Guinea’s economy.
The settlement is just near the Parliament.
Morata 1 is a multicultural community that is made up residents who work for the Government, well-known organisations and businessman and women.
The residents deserve a comfortable neighbourhood with proper government services.
The settlement lack basic services such as water, electricity, health, school and other services since 1975 and nothing is done to improve it.
Morata 1 has more than 200,000 residents.
We see that Sir Mekere Morauta hid from Morata 1 since he entered parliament while the National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop is giving only verbal assurances.
This time we are asking again, we need a settlement upgrade before 2022.
