Use law to bring peace

The National Letters

BURNING rubbish and breaking glass or bottles in public places will attract a K1000 fine and a jail term.
I hope there is more publicity on the above and many more fines that were passed recently by Parliament under the Summary Offences Act.
This will help educate the public so they know there are laws out there to protect them.
The offenders too will also know if they continue with these bad habits, and once reported, they will be in for a good time with the law.
The challenge now is on educated citizens in communities to start using the law to bring peace.
