Use of school vehicle clarified

I refer to the letter by Charles Wisu (June 28) regarding a vehicle he said belonged to Upper Waria Primary School in Bulolo.
I now clarify that the vehicle was donated by the Bulolo MP to the five schools of Upper Waria, in Waria LLG, for the use of the teachers in those schools.
Unfortunately, the management of the first school that was tasked to take care of the vehicle did not look after it properly, it became up damaged and ended up grounded in Lae.
The vehicle was taken over by another school which used its own funds to fix it. The vehicle is running now and serving its intended purpose of transporting teachers to and from Waria to Lae.
