Use the scripture to fight corruption

AS a country, Papua New Guinea is rated as one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
Corruption in this country is said to be systematic as well as endemic.
I set this proposal to the Government to take back PNG from such evil practices.
There are no magic pills or solutions that will help rid the country of this plague overnight.
However, we must try every available means that is practical to be applied by all of us in society who are concerned about the welfare of our country.
I suggest that the Word of God be used as a method to counter this demonic plague called corruption.
God’s Word is living and is active and is also spirit and is life.
Corruption is deeply rooted in greed and idolatry which are spiritual evil forces.
There is no physical weapon that can exterminate them apart from God’s word.
Corruption is a byproduct of evil spirits rooted deeply in the hearts of people.
These demonic forces cannot be countered with human methods but can only be defeated through spiritual warfare using God’s Word as the weapon of defence and through the power of prayer.
Corruption can be eradicated if the Word of God is strategically applied in ways, methods and places that are noticeable as well as applicable and that can be easily read and digested into the human spirit by all concerned.
As a Christian country, it is only right that we freely exercise our Christian faith to declare war on this most evil force.
The prime minister has declared war on corruption. He has to strategically engage the power of God’s Word.
We are not fighting against flesh and blood, this fight is against powerful evil spiritual forces.
