Ute won in raffle draw

 A YOUNG father from Central drove away with a Hilux utility worth K127,000 yesterday after winning in the Chin H Meen (CHM) Panasonic promotion.

The promo was partnership between Ela Motors and CHM Panasonic.

Two past winners from Kimbe and Lae also received similar models last year. 

Laki Tau of Gaire village said he knew he was going to win.

Before the promotion, he had been buying boxes of Panasonic batteries to resell at his trade store in the village. 

Tau said his battery purchases increased when the competition began last year.

“I was sure I was going to win, with the store at home, I was planning to get a truck to bring store goods from the city (Port Moresby),” he said.
