ABOUT 50 delegates from the Christian Outreach Centre were told to utilise their talents and uphold their responsibilities as Christians.

A three-day conference and fellowship organised by the church in Cairns emphasised the importance of identifying and using individual talent to spread the Word of God.

Participant and spokesman Moses Tomon said the occasion, from Oct 1-3, was a refresher and a reminder for the participants to observe Jesus Christ’s calling on all Christians to witness the love and grace of God on unbelievers.

He said the theme of the conference was “identity” and had renowned speaker in Steve Kelly of Wave International Ministry in the US.

Kelly spoke of the importance of fellowship and connecting with God and the privilege of mankind to celebrate life and the Gospel by sharing and witnessing God’s love.

Tomon said the occasion offered an insight to participants to understand that every Christian had a responsibility to witness for Christ.
