THE people of the Wabag electorate in Enga are calling on their open member and acting Prime Minister Sam Abal to complete the three projects which he promised them three years ago.

They said when Abal was elected into parliament in 2007,  he promised the people three major projects which were the the Maramuni-Wabag road upgrading, the Wabag poultry project and the construction of a new Wabag market.

Spokesperson Nathan Isingi said Abal must fulfil his commitment within the remaining one year he had left in the member’s office.

Isingi said it was also only one year before the next elections and there was still nothing on the ground in terms of tangible services in the district.

He said the people had not seen any changes with regard to Abal’s policies and commitments he made before being elected into office by the people of Wabag.

Isingi said the people who had struggled to bring him this far into power were still calling out for basic services.

He said an MP, once  voted into parliament, had the responsibility to serve and ensure that the people, who gave him the mandate, get much needed services to improve their livelihood.
