Vision 2050 goals possible

Letters

The PNG Vision 2050 states: “We will be a smart, wise, fair and a happy society by the year 2050.”
It is absolutely necessary for us to identify what is stopping us from achieving this vision.
Just as a good apple surrounded by rotten apples will eventually become rotten, our people will continue to suffer and live unhappy lives, at the hands of bad people.
Some of the key solutions to reverse this trend include awareness and education.
Developed and happier societies have fewer crimes and law-and-order issues.
People in happier societies tend to mind their own business, rather than causing problems to disturb the peace, harmony and happiness.
This foreign analysis needs to be assessed if it holds any truth in PNG societies.
If so, all leaders at all levels of government need to rally, unceasingly, until remedial action is taken.
This will go a long way towards achieving the goal of a ‘smart, wise, fair and a happy society for all Papua New Guineas by 2050’.
