Vital to know your goals, says Czuba

 UNDERSTANDING an institution’s purposes and goals is an essential part of its operation, a workshop was told at the Divine Word University yesterday.

DWU president Fr Jan Czuba made those comments in his address to participants of a two-day workshop for senior tertiary education managers.

The post-course workshop on edu­cation leadership and management for senior managers was initiated by the Australian-based Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM), and funded by AusAID.

Czuba said: “I want you to take a practical approach. You have to understand why institutions exist and what their purposes are.”
