Volleyballer’s funeral service set

THE funeral service for national men’s volleyball captain Ravu Mahuru will be held at the Vabukori United Church in the National Capital District tomorrow.
The Vabukori Volleyball Association and PNG Amoa captain died on Tuesday at the Port Moresby General Hospital after a short illness.
“The casket will be taken to the Mahuru Gaudi Memorial Church at Vabukori on Friday for the funeral service at 4pm,” Mahuru’s uncle Rahe Rau, who is also the Vabukori councillor in the Motu-Koitabu Assembly, said.
Late Mahuru will be laid to rest at the Vabukori cemetery on Saturday.
