A CANDIDATE for the lower Asaro local level government had urged voters to elect leaders who are trustworthy, hardworking and sincere.

Former school teacher Kiff Paoh said some candidates were only eyeing the K500,000 direct allocation to the LLGs.

Paoh filed his nomination at the Asaro government station yesterday and said some candidates running for LLG president and council wards had questionable backgrounds.

“The leaders elected must possess skills and knowledge to translate the K500,000 into equitable and tangible benefits,” Paoh said.
