Wallaby halfback donates to charity

PRO-MA Systems’ Light of Hope PNG’s fund raising 2010 was given a boost yesterday with a donation from Australian Wallaby halfback Will Genia.
Will, PNG’s Australian Wallaby Test halfback, stepped into PNG Pro-ma office to donate his Australian Wallaby team test jumper.
Will, on holiday here, said he was committed to support the charity drive for a worthy cause.
He also confirmed his attendance at the Light of Hope PNG corporate fund raising dinner, a major fund raising event for St Peter’s Literacy School project that serves underprivileged children in PNG.
Light of Hope director Allan Duma was overwhelmed by the timely gesture and support.
Mr Duma said 2009 had been a very challenging year in raising funds for the Goilala children.
The jumper will be auctioned at the fund raising dinner for much- needed funds.
“Will joins our elite list of sponsors and supporters, among them NCD Governor Powes Parkop,” he added.
