PAPUA New Guinea-based Wira Wama and Kema Jack will join the Labasa soccer side for the Courts Inter-District Championship (IDC) which starts next week.
Labasa Football Association secretary Nilesh Lal said the duo would join the remaining players who had been in camp since last week.
Lal said the inclusion of PNG national representatives and Hekari stars Wama and Jack would add to Labasa’s strength.
Both also featured for the northerners in the Battle of the Giants tournament this year, would boost their IDC title defence campaign.
He said the team were training well under the guidance of co-coaches Ivor Evans and Bal Sanju Reddy.
“All the players have joined the team except for Taniela Waqa who will join us later.
“Our two PNG players, Kema Jack and Wira Wama will also give us a boost,” Lal said.
The secretary said Waqa, who plays for Hekari United in the O-League, was not able to join the team this week but would do so on the weekend.
