Wapenamanda need proper roads

Letters, Normal

THE road condition in Wapenamanda, Enga, is no better than a pig’s track.
The district is made up of constituencies, Tsak and Lower Lai, and the roads that link the two places were built by the provincial government in the late 1980s.
The roads, if you can call them that, are in very poor condition.
We call on MP Miki Kaeok to maintain the roads so that basic services can be delivered.
While many MPs are working hard to deliver services and bring development, the people of Wapenamanda are still waiting to see changes.
The people need roads so they can sell coffee and vegetables in Tsak and Lower Lai in markets and other towns.
Our schools and health centres need supplies but without roads, supplies cannot reach Wapenamanda.
