Warrant out for manager

A BENCH warrant has been issued for an expatriate manager charged with misappropriating K200 million belonging to a housing company.
Larry Dell Gosette, 67, of Tennessee, United States, is alleged to have used the money when he was general manager of Red Sea Housing Services.
The court issued the arrest warrant after it was told Gosette’s whereabouts had been unknown since March.
Police said the offence was allegedly committed last February.
Cost control manager Kohinoor Noushad said the company realised there was money missing after a regular internal audit.
Noushad said the funds were project funds.
Sgt Pias Ulga of the 6-Mile police station, said Gosette was released on a K5,000 bail after his arrest in February but had been in hiding since March.
Noushad said Gosette never turned up in court.
The company has its headquarters is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and specialises in the building and housing industry.
