Wawens get family’s help

A FAMILY donated shirts to FC Morobe Wawens for their training after seeing the National Soccer League franchise using one set of uniforms for training.
The Lung family, represented by Shirley Lung, said her son Christopher had seen the team training using the same uniform and he had implored her to help the team.
“Maybe through this small assistance it will cause others in the community to chip in to help the team in whatever way they can,” Lung said.
Club captain Dallas Namuesh acknowledged the Lung family for their support while team manger Kossie Java said the players were grateful for the support.
