Website,Wi-Fi helping students do research

A TEACHERS’ college in the Highlands region has launched a new website and Wi-Fi and is helping its students and staff create email accounts to help with their learning and research.
Simbu Teachers’ College in Chimbu is hoping its investments will enhance the efforts of the students to learn more and smarter and help with their communication.
Brown Gari, from Garit Solutions, said the new internet system would take the college to the next level with the advanced technology.
Gari said that his company had installed the system because it make learning and communication easy and affordable.
Gari said each student now had his or her own email account and they could communicate with their lecturers and even go online with the backup Wi-Fi system.
“This system was installed to bring the world right onto your palm and you can also go online at your free time to develop and increase your knowledge.
“My company will make sure a landline telephone is connected to the college as well.”
