Well done, Task Force Sweep

The National, Thursday 24th November 2011

I would like to commend the excellent job done by members of the Task Force Sweep.
They have done well to investigate and refer those implicated.
We cannot have people dipping their dirty fingers into the national coffers.
The national planning office must be swept clean from the top floor to the ground floor.
Others that need immediate cleaning include the departments of finance, environment and conservation and agriculture and livestock.
It is disgusting to find the very people entrusted to deliver services to the people are the ones implicated.
The little people are struggling to survive, carrying coffee bags for miles and days across rugged terrains to sell their produce and buy basic needs.
Unlike our implicated leaders who are driving the latest four-wheel drives, the people are forced to walk because there are no roads to the villages.
It was formed less than four months ago but the task force members have recoup more than K100 million.
This is a job well done and I salute the team members.
