West Papua needs support

IT was a heart-touching moment for me to see West Papuans looking at their flag with tears rolling down their faces.
Grandparents, parents, children and grandchildren with yearning and hopeful heart are wondering how and when they will be granted freedom.
Since 1961, the occasion on Dec 1 is performed all over the world with the one in Port Moresby held at Ela Beach where the guest of honour was NCD Governor Powes Parkop.
PNG is privileged to take its freedom on a golden plate unlike other countries where blood was shed.
We as citizens of this country, and as Christians, have to show our support for the West Papua movement for freedom.
They see us as brothers and sisters and want us to stand with them.
