Westpac increases daily ATM withdrawal to K2,000

WESTPAC PNG has increased its daily automated teller machine (ATM) withdrawal limit nationwide from K1,000 to K2,000 to make banking convenient for its customers.
This came into effect on March 24 and customers with a HandyCard or a Visa card can access more of their funds from ATMs across the country.
A spokesperson told The National that as an essential service provider, Westpac was proud to be supporting its customers through the Covid-19 pandemic by making banking services more convenient through its digital and online channels.
“With the restrictions on movement, the change will help our customers follow current stay at home guidelines by reducing the frequency of branch and ATM visits.
“We also have other ways to bank via in-store agents and mobile banking so customers don’t have to travel to a branch.”

  • And improve Wewak ATM service too, the two ATM machines have been dysfunctional since the day they were installed. Westpac Bank flatters in many banking aspects which is why a different reliable banking group should take over and provide valuable service to its customers.
