What happened to Covid-19 funds?

Letters

With the increasing number of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Delta variant cases in Eastern Highlands and other parts of Papua New Guinea, there would be an unprecedented demand for vaccination.
Our health system is stretched.
What approaches has the Health Department taken to supply equipment needed in hospitals and health centres in Eastern Highlands, Western Highlands and other parts of Papua New Guinea that are hit by the virus?
What happened to the Covid-19 funds?
We are yet to reach the peak of the pandemic and the current situation is frightening.
We had the funds, but it is most likely that we will seek more foreign assistance again when the pandemic reaches its worst stage in the country.
Vaccination will help us.
The Government should study how other developing countries control the spread of the virus and its effects.
We are in a very challenging time.
