What happened to flights to Tufi?

Letters

ON Sept 3, our corporate communication department released that we will be conducting operations to Tufi Airport on Sept 16.
This did not happen
Tufi has never been supported by Air Niugini as an airstrip. It was never deemed as a provincial airport under the Civil Aviation Act and contributes little to the services and infrastructure our mission statement outlines.
It is interesting that the other airline that has been servicing Tufi seems to have disappeared.
Does this mean that the new data is somewhat limiting or are there some other reasons for leaving Tufi out?
Is this a personal vendetta by our chief executive officer?
Who is truly running Link PNG?
Does this new age of competition allow for a different set of aviation rules to be applied?
Or is this purely commercial spin for getting cheap advertising?
I wonder what else our highly-experienced airline management team is doing to chisel away our safety standards and reputation.
