I THANK the Madang regional MP, Sir Arnold Amet, and the members of the opposition for uncovering the K500 million spent by the government within three months.
For the sake of transparency and accountability, I support their call for investigations to verify whether relevant laws and procedures were followed in sourcing and distributing these funds.
By the same token, Sir Arnold, the former treasurer and the former planning minister should provide a list of major national projects that they did during their nine years in charge where billions of kina were unaccounted for.
Tell us what your government accomplished with all the money it spent.
If Sir Arnold cannot do that, I respectfully ask him to stop treating Papua New Guineans as fools and keep quiet.
Sir, your government has been weighed on the scale and found wanting.
Therefore, leadership has been taken from you and given to another leader for the sake of suffering Papua New Guineans.
