What’s become of the soccer final?

I am a keen follower of the National Soccer League competition and its rival headed by John Kapi Nato.
I am aware that the competition headed by Nato has played its final, with Hekari United winning.
What happened to the National Soccer League final?
I heard on the grapevine that the final has not been played because there is no money.
Over to you NSL competition administrators; can you confirm or deny if this is really the case?
