Where is the Kumul card, Telikom?

Letters, Normal

I REFER to the letter “International calls to PNG very costly” (The National, Feb 26) by “AK”.
The answer to the expensive calls is supposed to be the “Kumul universal access card” which Telikom and Air Niugini advertised a month ago as an economical way to call family and friends in PNG.
The cards were supposed to be available in all Air Niugini offices but so far, the staff in Brisbane are in the dark about this card.
Three weeks ago, Telikom replied to my letter in The National asking when the cards would be available.
Telikom gave a list of numbers in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
When I rang the numbers Telikom gave, someone with Filipino accent answered my call and asked for my details.
I was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. That was three weeks ago.
When I called Air Niugini office in Brisbane on Feb 26, it still has no information about the card.
Talk about efficiency.
