Who will take over as PM?

Letters, Normal

THE question many people are asking is who will take over as the next prime minister.
Several names have been tossed, from Deputy Prime Minister Sir Puka Temu to NCD Governor Powes Parkop and Don Polye to Opposition leader Sir Mekere Morauta.
However, Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare has kept the answer close to his heart.
I think it would go to either Treasurer Patrick Pruaitch or Sir Michael’s son, Arthur.
Mr Somare obviously has the upper hand as he has been through thick and thin with his father.
Although he may lack the age and experience, he made it up with his political maturity and vision.
Mr Pruaitch has performed well in the ministerial portfolios he has held.
From Forestry to Treasury, he has done exceptionally well.
He may not be as vocal as Mr Somare or Mr Polye but he gets his work done.
And in the current economic situation, we need someone like him.– Kose Kave Lae
