WHP launches health plan

THE Western Highlands health authority launched its five-year strategic plan yesterday.
The 2019-23 strategic plan was launched by Health Minister Sir Puka Temu in Mt Hagen.
The plan will focus on services delivery, strong partnerships, robust
systems, child health, maternal health, disease burns, healthy lifestyle and
disease outbreaks and population health.
Sir Puka said he would support the authority with its strategic plan.
He said this shows the authority has a strong leadership.
He said health was one the top five priority areas of the government.
