WHP leaders too caught up in court battles

I ACKNOWLEDGE the passing of the Western Highlands budget.

But with failed LLG elections in various council wards and pending court cases, it is we, the people, who will either receive  services  or  suffer in the end.

Wai Rapa and others are condemning the budget while those mandated make decisions behind closed doors.

Why are we waiting for court settlements while time is running out?

Other provinces get budgets approved and are now planning for delivery, but why does WHP have to wait and prioritise court cases?

The people are sick and tired of all the court cases and political infightings.

We want tangible service deliveries.

Consider our deteriorating conditions of services in the province and make it your business to serve us.

Try  to  think  big  and  publicise good headlines like “WHP leaders bung wantaim  programme” or something more positive so that we can be proud of your initiatives.

We are in February and will soon pass the first quarter of the year.

So please, enough of complaints and take whatever is given to you this year to feed us.

I  thank those who passed the provincial budget.

I  hope  it  is maximised on areas like the provincial education subsidy programme.
