Why cut child support payment?

WHILE the cut off ceiling for child support is K300 per child, many times it seems the judges cut these support down to K200, even K150 per child. Why? Why are we being lenient on men who decide to
have adulterous relationships and leave their wives and children behind?
It is time priority is given to innocent women and children who suffer and struggle to make ends meet when their husband/father decides to leave and start another family.
For some, especially women who are working, it is manageable but for unemployed women, this is a burden and many times its they and their children who pay for the man’s failure.
So, if we are to empower women and children, we must start implementing laws and stop being lenient on adulterous men.

Women and Children’s Lives Matter

  • Some women may not use the child support funds for their child’s upbringing. They use it for other activities.
    The poor child is used to siphon money from the father.
