WIB gets funding boost

PAPUA New Guinea Women in Business (PNGWiB) has received K3,500   cash from the Niugini Table Birds to help it host a business expo in Lae next month.
The three-day event will be held at the Sir Ignatius Kilage stadium from Feb 26 to 28.
The Niugini Table Birds, which is a subsidiary of Mainland Holdings, will also provide another K1,500 in merchandise, according to Eunice Gware, who presented the cheque for K3,500 to Janet Sape last Sunday.
This expo is expected to draw women from all sectors.
 A fee of K300 will be charged on new women entreprenurs, K1,000 on established businesswomen and K2,000 on major business houses.
